I've lived Kalamazoo and portage my entire life actually. Candlewyck I've lived in, Walnut Trails I've lived in, they really aren't that bad there's just a problem with people who give really shitty ratings to lower the revue on apartment complexes. If you are looking for a higher rated apartment complex try the ones in Parkview Hills. There's several in one secluded neighborhood and I've known people who have lived there. Its a really nice area.
